Geometry

Geometry Class

This Denison Geometry course is an excellent option for students who need extra support with math concepts. Mr. Denison’s teaching style is intentionally slow-paced, clear, and detail‑oriented, with supportive video lessons that help students learn independently at home. Students will complete four lessons per week outside of class, allowing us in‑person time to focus on testing, review, and meaningful discussion.

Denison Geometry is a standard level course designed to teach geometric concepts while strengthening Algebra 1 skills. Geometry topics are spread out and explained in a way that makes them easier to understand and remember. Additionally, this course reviews and reinforces essential Algebra 1 concepts, helping to fill in any gaps a student may have while solidifying the skills needed for success in Algebra 2 and beyond. It is recommended that this course be taken directly after Algebra 1, giving students an additional year to mature mathematically and strengthen their algebra skills before advancing to Algebra 2.
